Our Story

The TGGA started in 1998 in Lake Tahoe with 3 of the founding members: Mark Macy, David Cumming, and the late Ashley Lehman. They played courses in the Northern California and Lake Tahoe area, including Pacific Grove Golf Links, Incline Village and Northstar.

It was on this trip that they came up with the idea to plan and execute memorable golf trips with a growing brotherhood. This started with college friends from SMU in Dallas, and has grown since.

As of October 2017, TGGA history includes 19 trips across 11 states, including 39 different participants and growing. We've had 12 team titles, and 14 individual and BOOB titles.
